One of the world's most famous kisses, "The Kiss" (1907) by Brâncuși, is coming to Art Safari Love Edition. And it stays for 10 days in the heart of Bucharest!
We are waiting for you at Art Safari Kinder, from 21 to 30 August, at the art workshops dedicated to Brâncuși! From drawing to painting on canvas or t-shirt, the little ones can tell their own story inspired by Brâncuși's masterpiece, guided by visual artist Adriana Florea Băloiu. All materials are provided by ProfiArt.

NEW!!! Now also clay modelling workshops inspired by Brâncuși. Children learn to work their own version of the Kiss.

Note:
The duration of a workshop is 1 hour and the duration of a session in an intensive course is 1h30'. Sessions in intensive painting and drawing courses will start 30 minutes earlier than the posted timetable.

Art Safari Kinder art classes
  • Art classes open doors to new horizons where imagination becomes reality! We provide the necessary tools and guide our students on a journey to the self, from where they can visually compose their own stories. The art course engages sensitivity, emotion and intellect alike, as children are guided to access different types of thinking: creative, critical, analytical and reflective. In the course we propose a discourse that focuses on the following aspects:
    - assimilation of plastic and visual language, familiarisation with the basic notions of art, study of drawing and colour;
    - development of the ability of visual expression through practical methods, development of imagination, originality and spontaneity, accumulation of theoretical and practical knowledge for the realization of a composition - pagination, composition of the plastic space, proportions, ratio of objects, rendering of volumes, their shape and materiality, value ratio and chromatic expressiveness;
    - thinking and developing their own plastic compositions and artistic projects.
  • In our approach we will draw inspiration from the works of the great Romanian artists as well as from the works of the great masters.
  • We can develop together a structure of customized courses for educational institutions, companies, groups.

Rules for participation in courses
  • Location: Art Safari, Dacia-Romania Palace, Lipscani Street, No. 18-20, Ground Floor, Bucharest
  • Art workshop price: 120 lei/ session. Duration: 1h
  • Subscription price/intensive course 4 sessions: 440 lei. Duration: 1h30min/session. Guided tour Art Safari included
  • Subscription price/intensive course 5 sessions: 550 lei. Duration: 1h30min/ session. Guided tour Art Safari included
  • ubscription price/intensive course 10 sessions: 1.000 lei. Duration: 1h30min/ session. Guided tour Art Safari included
  • Age of participants: 4-18 years
  • Adults have access to the class room only if they pay for a separate ticket (or if they accompany a child aged 4-5 who needs an accompanying person)
  • All materials are included. Papers will be taken home by the participants. For the shoe painting workshop, participants must bring their own pair of shoes, clean and degreased.
  • Discounts applicable for groups of minimum 20 people
  • Courses will be organised with a minimum of 8 participants/group
  • Guided Art Safari tours (duration 20-30 min) are included in the price for subscriptions of 4,5 or 10 sessions or for organised groups
  • For a full group (minimum 20 students), the accompanying teacher has free access to the Art Safari
  • Course dates and times are subject to change; participants will be rescheduled if maximum capacity is exceeded or if organisational circumstances prevent the course from taking place.
  • The accompanying persons will leave a phone number when the child enters the classroom
  • For organised groups, the timetable can be customised - on other days/times
  • Tickets for the art workshops can be purchased on the artsafari.ro website, section KINDER TICKETS or directly at the entrance.
  • By attending the course, parents give their consent for taking photos during the course. The photos can be used on Art Safari's social networks
  • Special events organised by Art Safari Kinder will be announced via the artsafari.ro website or social media channels
